I can’t stop thinking about yellow treetops...
even though that season has now passed.
A walk home, the yellow stops me mid-stride,
I squint, it’s startling... this mass of yellow leaves.
I look up, the sun shines through – there's lemon and butter, mango gelato and tangerine.
It delights ... and then I can’t help but see yellow wherever I go – a mass or a glimpse
... and it feels like sunshine and hope.
